Fonteyn started as an auction nursery in 1989, but has since grown into a global specialist in large garden products. Fonteyn supplies these products to consumers in a radius of 300 kilometers around Uddel. In addition to the Outdoor Living Mall, Fonteyn has its own trade that exports outdoor spa under the own brand name Passion Spa worldwide.

Fonteyn has a distribution center and warehouse of 60,000 m2 in two layers below the showroom. This guarantees fast deliveries of all products from the showroom and the Passion Spa spas to the dealers.

Products

The 35,000 m2 showroom houses Europe's largest and most versatile range of garden houses, verandas, swimming pools, spas, saunas, garden furniture, outdoor kitchens and barbecues. Director Dolf Nieland talks passionately about his company: “Our ambition is to be and remain the number one in the world in the seven garden sectors mentioned. This relates to size, variety, quality of the assortment and knowledge about the products. A visit to our showroom must be an extraordinary experience that customers will not experience anywhere else. You must see us as the "Efteling" for the garden."

Nieland: “Our strength is the daily customer contact with direct lines with the manufacturer. We hear daily how products can be improved qualitatively. Manufacturers do not have that daily contact with the end users of their products. This gives us a head start and we continue to innovate by continuing to innovate. "

Regarding the spas, all this input was collected by Fonteyn and this resulted in its own line: Passion Spa. A network of 700 dealers has been set up to make customers happy with Passion Spas throughout Europe. Dealers have also been recruited outside Europe in recent years. Together they sell around 8000 Passion Spa baths on an annual basis.

Export Ambition

Fonteyn sees opportunities for improvement in many products. It is tempting to pick up other products in addition to the seven specialties. Nieland: “We are keeping it up to date. Focus is important. It is challenging enough to be the best in these seven segments. We see many further growth opportunities for Fonteyn Outdoor Living Mall and Passion Spas. "
